Black Adults of Action Section of the National Council of Negro Women has been actively involved in community–based programs and projects in the Washington Metropolitan Area for the past 24 years.  Community programs are focused in the following areas: international affairs, legislative, personal and community economic growth and development, cultural awareness and school-based education.
