15 Principles of
Economic Self-Reliance

The African Freedom Fund Treasury sponsored an Economics for Self-Reliance Conference on December 4, 1994.  One of the resolutions of the conference was to make the information available to those not present.  Listed below are 15 important points that we feel will benefit the individual and the collective and move us closer to "Economics for Self-Reliance".

  1. The key to financial independence is proper planning and a positive attitude.
  2. Continue to buy Black all year round.
  3. Develop a budget - begin to be in control of your money and expect to suceed.
  4. Do not misuse credit cards, they lead to economic slavery.  Work toward being debt free.
