Steven A. Hamilton’s “The Visions Of”
The Touchstone Gallery, located at 406 Seventh Street, NW, Washington, DC, is pleased to announce the exhibition of photographic art by an up and coming photographer in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Steven A. Hamilton, a native New Yorker, is a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C. and a self-taught photographer.
Hamilton’s passion for the art of photography has led him to rediscover unique scenes in the Washington, DC and New Mexico regions. Through various photo contests, his work on the “Cliff Dwellings of the Native Americans” was published by the International Library of Photography in March of 1998.
Hamilton’s exhibition depicts his visions of everything seen and unseen through the lens of his camera. His photographs are vivid pictures created by the power of imagination, combined with nature and the beauty of life forms around us. Hamilton’s philosophy is taken from the Book of Proverbs, “Where there is no vision, people perish”.
Steven A. Hamilton’s “The Visions Of” will be on display in the Annex of the Touchstone Gallery June 17 to July 19, 1998.
