The half-day Summit will bring together the leaders of major civil rights organizations (the National Council of La Raza, Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, NAACP, Asian Pacific American Community Partnership, and the National Urban League) to talk about the critical information and communications technology policy issues facing their communities of interest. A second panel of key subject matter experts from community-based organizations, academia, government and industry will be invited to discuss the impact of information and communications technology on education, economics, and social responsibility.
This Summit has been designed to galvanize the Civil Rights community and other stakeholders around the importance of information and communications technology to urban communities.
