Motherland Foods (Wayne and Melanie Lynn, Barry and Sharon Lynn, Kenneth Lynn and Tyrone Lynn) originated as the Lynn family enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner in 1995 " The Lynn boys",products of a lineage of entrepreneurs, began discussing the possibility of starting a potato chip company.  After many family discussions, the initial investments were collected and the concept became a reality.  In June of 1996, the first product was delivered.  " The Lynn boys" were in business!
 

The reception to Motherland Potato Chips has been phenomenal throughout the southeast and well into the New England states.  Motherland Foods has received many requests for the product.  Sales have steadily increased and marketing efforts have improved product awareness.

Motherland Foods now distributes in eight (8) states and twelve (12) cities.  The company continues to expand its market and product offerings.  In addition to the 1 oz. bag offered today, larger sizes will be introduced to augment our product line. These offerings will facilitate Motherland Foods' introduction in the billion-dollar snack food industry.
