Jazz Arts ‘98 presents Grammy Award-winning saxophonist, David Murray in the American premiere “Fo deuk Revue.” Along with “Master of Words” Amiri Baraka, Six of Senegal’s finest musicians will accompany Murray on this spectacular East Coast exclusive performance. Direct from Senegal are: rap artists Amadou Barry and Didier Awadi of “Positive Black Soul”; vocalists Moussa Séné and Tidane Gaye of “Dieuf Dieul”; xalam/guitarist Assane Diop also of “Dieuf Dieul”; and, New York-based percussionist Mar Gueye.
