Far to often, the image of the African American male is one of doom, gloom, death and despair. Most of the statistics quoted emphasize negative, antisocial and unhealthy behavior. Lost in this negative image, are the countless volunteer hours, hard work and sacrifice that positive Black men unselfishly offer for the betterment of their community.

Spectrum Consulting of Washington, DC, is conducting a national study to chronicle the positive impact that African American men are having on their communities around the US. Please help by identifying Black men in your community that may be interviewed for this study.
