BLACK-IP, The Black Information Professionals' Network, is dedicated to the concerns and interests of Black information professionals -- librarians, archivists, info brokers, etc. -- and others throughout the African Diaspora with an interest in the library/information field.Topics discussed may include concerns of the profession, race and ethnicity in the workplace, resource sharing, combatting white supremacy, education and training, job announcements, programs & exhibit mountings, and general library and information issues. Almost any issue of concern or  interest to Black information professionals is appropriate for posting to the list.
