IBBMEC Conference to feature Dr. Claud Anderson

The International Black Buyers & Manufacturers Expo and Conference (IBBMEC) is bringing together nearly 1,000 buyers, manufacturers, craftspersons, importers, booksellers, technology professionals and business service providers for a conference and Black trade show, on October 1st, 2nd at the Holiday Inn Silver Spring, 8777 Georgia Avenue and 3rd and 4th, 1998 at the University of the District of Columbia, 4200 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.

The theme "New Paradigms for 2000", will be the focus of two days of seminars that will cover marketing, leasing, retail merchandising, credit clean-up and strategies for cashing in on trade shows.  To set the tone for the conference, Dr. Claud Anderson, noted author of  Black Labor, White Wealth: A Search for Power and Economic Justice, will be providing the historical precedence for a Black, self-help, economic movement into the 21st century.

Saturday October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th  will be completely devoted to the trade show where buyers and manufacturers from the United States and abroad can buy, sell and form commerce alliances to strengthen and
